Photography has been my creative outlet for over a decade, and it's hard to believe that it all started back when I was just a teenager. For my 14th birthday, my parents gifted me my first professional camera, and off I went on a photography adventure that probably should have come with a warning label. I started out snapping photos of architecture and abandoned buildings—because what’s more thrilling for a teenager than breaking into a crumbling structure, right? Turns out, my greatest adventures were not in things falling apart, but in the laughter, connections, and the little moments that make life interesting.
Since 2017, I've been lucky to work as a photographer at multiple summer camps across the USA, most recently at a ranch camp in Wyoming. These experiences have shaped my approach to photography, allowing me to blend my love for the outdoors with the art of capturing sentimental moments. Whether it's the thrill of a competition or the quiet joy of a shared laugh around campfire, I strive to freeze those instances in time, creating memories that can be cherished.
Travel has played a massive role in my growth as a photographer. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been travelling the world, wandering through local markets, trying new foods (I might’ve sampled McDonald's in every country I visited), and having conversations with people from different backgrounds that open my eyes to different perspectives. Every place I visit inspires me, and each photo I take is a snapshot of those moments and connections. Through these adventures, I’ve been able to refine my skills and expand my portfolio, diving deep into my passion for photography.
My journey in photography is not just a career; it's a labor of love that I continuously immerse myself in. I’m dedicated to personal growth and constantly evolving my craft, always on the lookout for new ways to push creative boundaries.
